Who We Are and Our Role
This site is operated by DSFI inc, an Arkansas corporation trading as "Little Rock Event Space" ("we," "us," or "our"). DSFI inc is the data controller for personal information collected through LittleRockEventSpace.com: we decide what data is collected and why. Contact us at info@littlerockeventspace.com.
Information We Collect and Why
- Inquiry information — name, email, phone number, and event details (date, guest count, budget). Used to connect you with the venues you request and to follow up on your inquiry.
- Account information — email address and login credentials for venue owners and advertisers. Used to create and secure your account and to manage your listings.
- Listing and advertising content — venue details, contact details, logos, and banner artwork you submit. Used to publish and manage your listing or ad placement.
- Support messages — anything you send us by email or form. Used to answer you.
- Usage and device data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and interactions with listings. Used for security, fraud prevention, analytics, and improving the directory.
- Approximate location — only if you allow it in your browser, used to sort venues near you.
We do not collect or store your card details. Payment data is collected and processed by Stripe (see "Payments" below).
Legal Basis for Processing
- Performance of a contract — providing accounts, listings, paid placements, and fulfilling inquiries you submit.
- Legitimate interests — securing the site, preventing fraud and spam, understanding usage, and improving our service.
- Consent — marketing emails and SMS, and browser location access. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — tax, accounting, and responding to lawful requests.
Payments
Our order process is conducted through Stripe, which acts as Merchant of Record for our orders and as an independent controller for payment data. Stripe collects and processes billing information, calculates and remits tax, issues receipts and invoices, manages subscriptions, and handles transaction-level billing support and refunds. See Stripe's Privacy Policy. We receive only limited order information (such as your name, email, country, plan purchased, and subscription status) to provision and support your purchase.
How We Share Information
- Venue partners — when you submit an inquiry, your contact and event details are shared with the requested venue(s) so they can provide quotes and availability.
- Merchant of Record — Stripe, for the sale of our plans, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
- Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, storage, email delivery, and analytics providers acting on our instructions.
- Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where necessary.
- Authorities — where required by law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data Retention
Inquiry data is retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction so venues and we can follow up and resolve disputes. Account, listing, and advertising records are retained while your account is active and for 12 months after closure. Transaction and tax records are retained for 7 years where required by law. Usage logs are retained for up to 12 months. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage, row-level access controls on our database, private storage buckets for uploaded artwork, restricted administrative access, and rate limiting and spam protection on our forms. No system is perfectly secure, but we review these controls regularly.
International Transfers
We and our providers are based in the United States, and Stripe operates globally. If you contact us from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and stored in the United States, with appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to keep the site working, plus limited analytics to understand how the directory is used. Stripe may set cookies during checkout to process your order and prevent fraud. You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may break sign-in and checkout.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can opt out of marketing at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email or replying "STOP" to a text message. To exercise any right, email info@littlerockeventspace.com; we respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA, you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
